The terms that govern your use of the Kentures website and the purchase of our products and services.
Last updated: January 2025. These terms apply to all purchases of products and services from Kentures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with registered office at Links House, 111 Main Road, Gidea Park, Romford, Essex, RM2 5EL.
1. Use of this website
By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use this website. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Quotations and pricing
All quotations provided by Kentures are fixed-price and valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Grant deductions shown in quotations are estimates based on current government schemes and eligibility at the time of quoting. Final grant amounts are subject to OZEV approval.
3. Installation services
Installation services are subject to a separate agreement confirmed in writing at the time of booking. By accepting a quotation and proceeding to installation, you agree to the scope of work, access requirements, and payment terms set out in that agreement. You are responsible for ensuring adequate access is available on the agreed installation date.
4. Payment terms
Payment is due in full prior to or on the day of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and card. Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking. Hardware orders require payment in full before dispatch.
5. Grant applications
Where Kentures applies for a government grant on your behalf, you confirm that the information you have provided to us is accurate and complete. Providing false information in support of a grant application is an offence under the Fraud Act 2006. Kentures accepts no liability for refused or clawed-back grant payments resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a booked installation with at least 48 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out fee to cover the engineer's time and travel. Hardware orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled but may be returned in accordance with our Returns Policy.
7. Warranty and liability
All installations are covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee. Hardware warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and vary by product. Kentures' liability is limited to the value of the specific product or service supplied. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or services.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to Kentures Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from this website without our prior written consent.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
